Job Summary
Join us as a Construction Resident Engineer, responsible for serving as the onsite project representative, performing construction contract administration, inspection duties, and developing cost estimates. You will lead field operations, solve problems for municipal clients, and mentor staff. A B.S. in Engineering with over 7 years of experience in construction management is required, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Engineering
- 7+ years of construction management experience
- Experience with utilities such as Storm Sewer, Sanitary Sewer, and Water Main
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and oral)
- Working knowledge and experience with state and local regulations
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- P.E. License in Illinois preferred or on P.E. track
- IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Knowledge and experience with CAD programs preferred, preferably MicroStation
