Job Summary
Provide construction quality manager services to ensure the project meets the design and quality standards as outlined in the construction documents. The CM will act as the on-site representative for the Government and will report information regarding the construction directly to GSA. Responsibilities include documenting existing conditions, reviewing drawings and specs for QC compliance, leading weekly site meetings with GSA, ensuring effective QC program implementation, conducting daily site inspections, reviewing submittals and RFIs, tracking schedules and changes, maintaining marked-up drawings, reviewing contractor invoices, and supporting project close-out and employee clearances. Must be on site at all times during construction. Skills include Verbal and written communication, scheduling software (Microsoft Project), CPM/CPM-like workflows, and knowledge of construction schedules and scopes of work; preferred is Federal/GSA experience, OSHA 30, and ability to navigate construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years construction management experience with a CCM certification or 10 years experience with a four year engineering or architectural degree and has successful completed a construction project of similar scope and complexity: $1M Structural renovation.
