Job Summary
Construction Quality Engineer responsible for implementing quality standards during construction activities, driving compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements to deliver safe and reliable Oil & Gas facilities. You oversee construction quality activities, coordinate inspections, tests, and verifications with construction teams, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors, identify and manage non-conformities with effective corrective actions, support development and implementation of quality control procedures and construction method statements, contribute to contractor quality performance assessments, maintain accurate records of inspections and quality documentation for traceability and final project dossiers, participate in audits and reviews to verify compliance with quality assurance systems and regulatory standards, and promote a quality culture within site construction teams through coaching and day-to-day interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality management within the Oil & Gas sector
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), welding, NDT, and materials inspection
