Job Summary
Review quality records, inspection documentation, and construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and contract requirements. Maintain and organize project quality records, inspection reports, and related documentation. Prepare monthly quality reports summarizing inspections, testing activities, NCR status, quality metrics, and trends. Analyze and report on construction quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and project quality trends. Lead and coordinate project QA/QC activities, support discipline engineers and the project management team, and communicate quality concerns to responsible engineers. Collaborate with the owner, contractors, and project team to investigate, resolve, and close non-conformance reports. Work at the project office in North Vancouver until the end of 2029, then transition to the AECOM Burnaby office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or other Engineering discipline
- 4+ Years of relevant construction coordination experience
- Prior Construction Quality Coordination experience on a large industrial project
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation within Canada
- 6+ years of construction quality experience, including QA/QC coordination
- Experience on water/wastewater, industrial, process, or heavy civil infrastructure projects
- Experience reviewing quality documentation, inspection records, and testing reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and document control platforms E-Builder and Procore
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and work independently
- Experience developing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Experience with turnover packages and commissioning documentation
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
