Job Summary
The Construction Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector will perform various inspections and materials testing, utilize drawings, and observe site activities under general supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining and calibrating equipment, documenting test results, and communicating effectively with clients and teams. Required qualifications include 5+ years of relevant experience, ACI and ICC certifications, and proficiency in MS Office applications. The role demands strong communication skills and physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant construction inspection, quality assurance and quality control experience on transportation/heavy civil projects
- ACI and ICC Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record
- Basic Math, Calculator, and Computer Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Willingness to work off shifts and overtime
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to kneel, squat and climb occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, WAQTC, and/or CWI certifications
Additional Requirements
- Pre-employment drug screen required for safety-sensitive roles
- Must be able to work off shifts and overtime
