Job Summary
Lead the project-specific quality control program ensuring all work meets contract requirements and maintain accurate project documentation for military construction projects in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Build strong relationships with clients while upholding company Mission, Vision, and Values. This full-time, on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, five years of commercial construction experience, and a USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate. Fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred, along with proficiency in Autodesk Build, ACC, RMS/QCS, and Oracle. Candidates must hold Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications. RQ Construction specializes in fast-track commercial construction for public and private clients, with a primary focus on Department of Defense projects.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years combined experience (or equivalent) in commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
- Two years' experience as a QC Manager
- A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate
- Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.)
- All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
- All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- Equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience
- RMS/QCS training
- Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs
- LEED AP, AP+ or Green Associate (GA) Certificate
- Specific software literacy (Autodesk Build, ACC -Build, RMS/QCS, Oracle)
