Construction Quality Control Manager

Job Summary
On-site leadership of the quality-control program for naval construction projects. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing contract-specific QC activities, executing to contract requirements, and completing timely administrative documentation while advancing client satisfaction. Role requires ten-plus years in commercial construction in roles such as QC Manager/Superintendent/PM/PE, current USACE CQM certification, on-site work at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL, and willingness to relocate or travel as needed. Training in EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour is required; LEED/green certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) or more years combined experience in commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
- Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate is required
- Two years' experience as a QC Manager required
- LEED AP, AP+ or Green Associate (GA) Certificate preferred
- Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications required
- Training can be provided
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet) required
- Specific software literacy (Viewpoint/Vista, RMS/QCS) preferred
- Headquartered in Carlsbad, CA; on-site field operations team at locations nationwide
- All candidates must provide identity and U.S. work authorization and pass drug and DoD background checks
