Job Summary
Construction Quality Control Manager needed to lead and implement a project-specific quality control program for on-site field operations on Navy base construction projects in Kings Bay, GA. Responsibilities include coordinating QC activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, completing timely administrative documentation, and maintaining customer satisfaction in alignment with RQ Construction’s mission, vision, and values. Local candidates are preferred; relocation or travel to on-site management will be required. Must work on-site. Required qualifications include a BA/BS in a related field, 10+ years in commercial construction in roles such as Superintendent/QC Manager/Project Manager/Project Engineer, and USACE CQM for Contractors certification; RMS/QCS training and specialty inspection licenses are highly desirable. Certifications such as EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour are required. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Autodesk Build, and RMS/QCS preferred. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/ Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (minimum formal education)
- Ten or more years combined experience in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
- Two years' experience as a QC Manager
- Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate required
- RMS/QCS training preferred
- Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired
- LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) certificate preferred
- Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications required
- Procore, Autodesk Build, RMS/QCS familiarity preferred
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet) required
- Experience with DoD projects and on-site management
