Job Summary
Field-based Construction Quality Control Manager responsible for developing, administering, and enforcing project-specific quality control programs across military/federal construction sites in San Diego County. Oversees quality documentation, coordinates inspections and testing, ensures compliance with contract requirements and project specifications, and promotes client satisfaction. Travel or relocation as required by project needs; on-site work at multiple active jobsites with a Carlsbad office affiliation. Requires collaboration with project teams, adherence to company standards, and active management of QC processes on DoD/USACE-related projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, Building Science, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience may be considered
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction leadership roles
- 2 consecutive years of experience as a Quality Control Manager
- Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors Certificate or equivalent
- Specialty inspection certifications and licenses preferred
- Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30 certifications required; training can be provided
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet applications
- Experience using Viewpoint/Vista software preferred
