Job Summary
Review approved construction drawings and specifications to ensure work complies with contract documents, plans, and codes. Communicate findings to contractors, foremen, and superintendents while writing concise inspection reports and coordinating sample pickups with the office. Supervise junior inspectors and technicians, initiating non-conformance processes when materials or work deviate from specifications. Perform observations primarily related to concrete, steel, and civil projects. Maintain accurate quality records for hold-point inspections and material receiving. Requires WABO certification, a valid driver's license, and proficiency in MS Office. Salary range $30-55/hour with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- WABO certification
- The ability to obtain certifications to perform in-field material testing
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage a multi-task workload
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a project quality role
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or Three (3) years' relevant work experience plus a technical or Associate's degree, or five (5) years of relevant inspection experience
