Job Summary
Construction Quality Assurance Technician responsible for supporting delivery of construction projects through QA/QC activities, performing QA inspections and testing for earthworks, geosynthetics, and general construction; interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications; maintaining accurate site records; assisting with tenders, reports, cost estimates, and construction methodologies; communicating site progress to senior engineers and project managers; and supporting office-based tasks including data analysis and report preparation, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years’ experience, including 4+ years on construction sites
- Experience with bulk earthworks, field testing, sampling, and geosynthetics
- Strong written communication skills; ability to prepare clear field reports
- A strong focus on safety and quality
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisation skills
- A current driver’s licence
