Job Summary
Create and oversee project schedules using Primavera P6, interpreting construction drawings to define scope, requirements, and budget. Develop and maintain integrated schedules through critical path method, resource loading, and baselining while analyzing change orders for impacts. Identify delays, recommend mitigation strategies, and verify schedule integrity throughout the project duration. Prepare weekly, monthly, and long-term critical path schedules, along with narratives and submittals for project management, subcontractors, and government entities. Participate in project meetings and risk reviews to ensure timely completion within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in construction scheduling with an understanding of construction terminology used in contracts and other construction documents.
- Proficient with the advanced features in P6 scheduling software and ability to embrace new technology.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cost loading specifically with RMS.
- At minimum of 2 years' project scheduling experience required.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with federal projects preferred.
- Microsoft Project experience is a preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
