Job Summary
Senior Construction Project Scheduler embedded in LAWA’s TDIP program at LAX to develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules for new construction and renovations, perform forensic schedule analysis and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) per AACE RP 29, review contractor submittals, support delay claim negotiations, and provide objective schedule assessments to the owner’s team. The role requires coordinating across multiple projects, engaging with contractors and claims staff, developing KPIs, and translating complex schedule findings for both technical and executive audiences. On-site, full-time at Los Angeles, CA, with a focus on terminal improvements, asset renewal, and airport service upgrades within a multi-billion-dollar modernization effort tied to the 2028 Olympics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field required; relevant professional licensure or certifications (PSP, PMI-SP, PE) strongly preferred
- 10+ years of construction scheduling experience, with 5+ years in direct support of an active multi-project capital program (owner-side or CM-side preferred)
- Direct forensic scheduling experience — claims analysis, TIA, and delay assessment on projects of $200M+ value with 3+ year duration; familiarity with AACE RP 29 required
- Mastery of Oracle Primavera P6 (v6.0 or higher); experience with Schedule Analyzer, Claims Digger, and/or Microsoft Project a strong plus
- Experience across multiple project delivery methods: Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR, Design/Build
- Strong written and oral communication skills — ability to present complex schedule findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Prior aviation or large transportation infrastructure experience is highly desirable
