Job Summary
Lead project scheduling activities across the Gulf States Region by developing master CPM schedules, look-ahead schedules, and procurement plans while integrating data into 4D Building Information Modeling. Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with subcontractors, design teams, and stakeholders to sequence project timelines and advise leadership on baseline schedules and monthly updates. Coach project teams on forecasting conflicts, analyzing acceleration options, and managing procurement coordination to ensure project timeliness. Establish regional scheduling standards, reporting protocols, and training curricula to maintain high competency levels. Review schedules for delays, claims, and contract negotiations, and assist with preconstruction pursuit schedules. Requires 8+ years of construction scheduling experience and proficiency in Microsoft Project, P6, and Asta Powerproject.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in construction scheduling
- equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Field and office experience in delivering project schedules
- Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, project management software, and project control tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, and Asta Powerproject
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to apply CPM scheduling theory
- Ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications
- Ability to travel to project work sites 70+ miles away
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards
- Developed skills (written, oral, and listening) in order to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
Desired Qualifications
- Estimating experience including take-offs preferred
