Job Summary
Develop and update construction schedules in Primavera P6 by entering durations, sequencing logic, constraints, and milestones while building work breakdown structures and tracking baselines. Review architectural, civil, and engineering drawings to identify construction activities, logic conflicts, and phasing challenges, then communicate findings to senior team members. Gather quantity and cost data to support resource-loading, production rates, and risk analysis, while preparing milestone summaries, sequencing notes, and project documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during meetings, updates, and occasional site visits to ensure accurate schedule execution. Assist in developing proficiency in schedule logic, construction sequencing, and project phasing under mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience supporting construction scheduling
- Proficiency using, or actively developing proficiency in, Primavera P6
- Foundational understanding of schedule updates, activity logic, work breakdown structures, baseline tracking, and schedule variance identification
- Ability to read and interpret basic architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in schedule data entry and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and clearly communicate questions, updates, and potential scheduling concerns
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Commitment to learning Connico's processes, client standards, project requirements, and safety protocols
- Some travel required: 10-25% (site visits, client meetings, conferences)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction sequencing, phasing, and resource allocation
- Experience using Excel-based scheduling or project controls tools
- Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Cloud
- Experience using Power BI or Adobe Acrobat
- Experience supporting large, complex, regulated, or multi-phase construction projects
- Experience in aviation, energy, commercial nuclear power, power generation, transmission or distribution, data centers, government, or military projects
- Exposure to Cost and Schedule Risk Assessments, Monte Carlo simulations, risk matrices, or other schedule risk activities
