Job Summary
Lead SBD's involvement in major North American construction projects, ensuring full engagement from pre-construction planning through project closeout. Build and maintain direct relationships with end users, contractors, and subcontractors to advocate for value-added solutions that maximize project efficiency, safety, and profitability. Develop comprehensive engagement plans, monitor project progress, manage budgets, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and problem resolution. Identify new opportunities to streamline procedures and enhance customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This remote/field-based role requires 60% travel and is located in Syracuse, NY. Total target cash compensation ranges from $105,000 to $169,100, inclusive of base salary and commission.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of in sales, marketing or related field
- Must have the ability to build relationships and work effectively with all levels of an organization to drive strategy, influence owners and create procedures and protocols
- Skilled at building and aligning a team to the overall strategic plan of the group and holding yourself accountable for the failures while giving credit to your team for the successes
- Ability to collaborate with the appropriate internal team members to resolve problems that arise with the end users in your region
- Ideal candidate is experienced in planning and executing meetings and events of varying sizes and scope
- Exhibit a thorough knowledge of managing and executing a budget for your region to stay within the developed forecast and allocation
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, SAP and use of a smartphone
- Travel 60% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Business Management or Engineering preferred)
- OSHA10 & OSHA30 certifications preferred
- Proven Construction project management experience preferred
