Job Summary

Lead project risk management assignments from inception through final completion, supporting the full risk lifecycle for design and construction projects. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to facilitate risk interviews, workshops, and meetings while developing risk management plans and registers. Develop and utilize Probability and Impact Matrices to rate risks, then perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis to prioritize actions. Identify, analyze, track, and provide guidance on mitigating risks to help construction managers control the risk process. Assist with continuous monitoring for new, changing, or outdated risks across federal, state, education, healthcare, and transit sectors.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in qualitative risk management
  • Developing project risk management plans
  • Facilitating project risk interviews, workshops, and update meetings
  • Formulating risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintaining project risk register
  • Demonstrated familiarity with quantitative risk analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in industry-related field
  • Detailed knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls
  • Recent experience/technical competence in risk identification, analysis and management for projects and programs of similar scope
  • Knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques
  • AACE Project Risk Management Professional (PRMP)
  • PMI Project Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders
  • Exhibit interpersonal and communication skills
  • Lead a team to complete tasks
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to apply analytical methods and techniques as they relate to risks
  • Initiate, organize and facilitate risk interviews and workshops with diverse subject matter experts
  • Organizational skills to maintain and communicate risk register information
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel and other risk register platforms
  • Able to work independently, seeking guidance and direction when required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • Demonstrated familiarity with CPM scheduling software applications (e.g. Primavera P6)
  • Demonstrated familiarity with quantitative risk analysis applications (e.g. @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, Safran Risk, RiskyProject, etc.)
