Job Summary
Monitor construction contracts, evaluate change orders, track RFIs, and generate schedule and cost updates to ensure projects are built on time and within budget. Prepare and execute construction plans, enforce safety protocols, and manage material deliveries using critical path methods. Lead field meetings, review shop drawings, and issue RFIs for plan discrepancies while ensuring all code inspections and tests are completed. Maintain records of deliveries and equipment, follow up with subcontractors on punch lists, and verify that materials and work comply with specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Architect, Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in Stick frame Multi-Family Residential Construction
- Knowledge of Revu Bluebeam/AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required
- Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential both within the internal project team and externally with consultants
- Knowledge of the shop drawing submittal process
- Ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications and able to comprehend and recognize safety standards and issues
- Ability to identify and report clearly critical deadlines
- Understanding of construction contracts, retention, releases
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- Understanding of critical path construction scheduling
- Weekdays 7 am to 5 pm
- Saturdays 7 am- 1pm, as required
