Job Summary
Construction Project Manager for data center procurement overseeing OFCI mechanical/electrical equipment procurement and delivery. Acts as primary liaison between Sourcing and Construction teams, administering contracts, developing procurement plans, and coordinating RFx processes, bid evaluations, and change orders. Leads or participates in vendor negotiations, price analysis, cost modeling, and reporting to stakeholders, with a focus on inventory control and supply chain performance. Requires extensive MEP procurement and project controls experience in mission-critical environments, on-site presence, and travel. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) with PMP being a plus; SOX controls may apply. Hybrid work setup with on-site in Shreveport, LA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Extensive experience in MEP procurement, supply chain management, or construction project controls
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management systems
- Experience with RFx, RFP processes, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
- Ability to conduct factory inspections and interpret technical specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- On-site work and travel as needed for inspections and coordination
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable
