Job Summary
Oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects by collaborating with teams to ensure success. Participate in steel detailing, create comprehensive schedules, and review specifications to prepare critical documents. Maintain detailed reports tracking progress while preparing and negotiating change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients. Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and stakeholders to maintain strong client relationships. Requires a Bachelor's degree, prior steel fabrication project management experience, and a valid US driver's license. Knowledge of AISC standards, scheduling software, and Tekla/Fabtrol is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience
- Prior Project Management experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals
- A valid US driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of AISC and PCI standards
- Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Understanding mathematics and possessing basic field tools for measurements
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures
- Knowledge of materials methods and tools involved in steel construction
- Knowledge of Tekla and Fabtrol software programs
