Job Summary
Oversee construction and installation projects from concept to commissioning, managing budgets, estimating costs, and ensuring supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered on schedule. Prepare regular job status reports, resolve field conflicts, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes while collaborating with subcontractors, engineers, and architects. Pull necessary permits and licenses from authorities, plan activities around operations in functional buildings, and allocate resources to meet all deadlines. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards, keeping stakeholders informed of project progress and handling environmental or community issues as they arise. Manage 50% travel and work full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in real estate and construction
- Ability to Travel: 50%
- Previous work experience managing budgets for construction management projects or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
- Vast knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Familiar with construction and project management software programs such as Procore and Blubeam
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations pertaining to state and local municipality building codes
- Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
- Excellent time management
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
- May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48lbs
