Job Summary
Operate as a Construction Project Manager in Santa Clara, owning full lifecycle delivery of commercial construction projects (including tenant improvements and design-build) across office, lab, retail, and technical environments. Lead client relationships from kickoff to closeout, collaborate on pursuit and bidding with estimators, coordinate RFIs/submittals/construction documents, manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization, and mentor field teams to foster a high-performance environment. Proficiency with Procore and Autodesk; adept at managing costs, schedules, quality, and profitability; excellent client-facing communication; knowledge of OSHA standards and LEED (preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Background as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Experience managing tenant improvement (TI) or commercial design-build projects
- Capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization and follow-through
- Knowledge of construction systems including structural, MEP, and building systems
- Familiarity with working in occupied or Class A commercial environments
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations
- Expertise reviewing project financials, billings, and subcontractor invoices
- Well versed using project management software such as Procore, Autodesk, or similar tools
- Collaborative approach to working with field teams including Superintendents and Project Engineers
- Natural aptitude for leadership and accountability with a no-ego, team-oriented approach
