Job Summary

Lead projects from preconstruction through completion on military construction projects in Monterey, CA, ensuring successful execution while embodying RQ's core values. Manage commercial and government projects ranging from $30 million to over $300 million, supporting the Department of Defense and private clients across the United States. Annual salary range of $130,000–$160,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline required; minimum of 2 years of experience managing commercial construction projects or equivalent. At least 6 years of progressive construction industry experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or comparable positions. Previous Design-Build project experience preferred. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based applications. Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit software is preferred. CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required or ability to obtain; STS certification is a plus. LEED Green Associate or Accredited Professional credentials preferred. All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • At least 6 years of progressive construction industry experience
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications
  • U.S. work authorization
  • Successful completion of a drug screening
  • Successful completion of a commercial criminal background check
  • Successful completion of a Department of Defense background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Equivalent industry experience and field training
