Job Summary
Rockford is hiring a Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Lead all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery from contract award to final handoff; develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting; establish and manage project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools; collaborate with Preconstruction, Estimating, and Procurement teams; manage the bid and award process including pre-bid meetings and contract administration; oversee subcontractor and vendor agreements; lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings; monitor compliance with design, schedule, quality, and safety standards; identify and manage project risks; mentor Assistant PMs and Project Engineers; manage warranty calls. Requires travel, strong communication, organizational skills, and relevant construction experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
- A minimum of three years commercial construction experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
- Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms
- Procore experience
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Must possess skills in workflow analysis and management
- Must be willing to travel
