Job Summary
Rockford is hiring a Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish, coordinating a team of professionals across disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role emphasizes developing and managing budgets, schedules, and contractual relationships, leading meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to design, schedule, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset with construction estimating experience and strong organizational skills, plus proven ability to manage bid processes, procurement, and cost projections while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
- A minimum of three years commercial construction project management experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Procore
- MS Outlook, Project, Excel, and Word proficiency
- Knowledge of operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
Desired Qualifications

- Three or more years of commercial construction project management experience
- Ability to read blueprints
