Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager oversees DeNovo projects, relocation projects, and facilities maintenance across assigned regions. Key responsibilities include managing general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, developing project budgets, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely project completion. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to interpret construction documents, and knowledge of various construction-related codes and standards. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in construction and maintenance, particularly in a healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in maintenance, operations, utilities, repairs, construction and alterations of buildings.
- Exposure to multiple technical disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, construction, carpentry, Tele/data, and painting.
- Experience with construction in a healthcare setting.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of residential & commercial buildings or other structures.
- Ability to review and interpret construction documents, blue prints, and other technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Life Safety code, Joint Commission, and infection control standards.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
