Construction Project Manager (Owner's Representative)

Job Summary
Manage multiple industrial redevelopment and capital improvement projects from acquisition through completion while representing the owner across planning, procurement, construction, and closeout. Develop scopes, bid packages, budgets, and schedules; solicit proposals from contractors, consultants, and vendors; review bids, evaluate scope coverage, and negotiate pricing. Coordinate architects, engineers, environmental consultants, and property stakeholders; manage budgets, contracts, and documentation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule performance. Resolve field conditions, scope gaps, and schedule issues; review change orders and project costs. Travel approximately 25% to active project sites. Work onsite at Milwaukee headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 years of construction project management experience
- Background in commercial, industrial, or related construction
- Experience managing multiple active projects at the same time
- Ability to work directly with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, and field issues
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-moving environment
- High level of energy, initiative, and personal accountability
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%
- Ability to work onsite at the Milwaukee headquarters
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Two-year degree in Construction Management
- Experience serving as an owner's representative
- Industrial facility or manufacturing plant construction experience
- Capital improvement project experience
- Commercial general contracting experience
- Tenant improvement experience
- Contractor procurement and bid leveling experience
- Cost estimating experience
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Experience renovating older industrial properties
- Exposure to roofing, structural, MEP, civil, environmental, demolition, or loading dock projects
- Experience managing projects across multiple states or locations
