Job Summary
Lead utility-scale solar and BESS construction projects by managing resources, subcontractors, and materials while owning the budget, schedule, and cost forecasts. Execute project integration, scope, time, and quality management processes to ensure timely completion and deliverables. Oversee multiple concurrent projects, maintain prime contracts with owners, and resolve disputes regarding performance, materials, or trade conflicts. Manage procurement, bid assembly, and subcontractor awards while ensuring Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship compliance. Conduct regular site visits, inspect work, and establish punch lists to verify final acceptance and Certificate of Occupancy. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and field operations to foster repeat business and drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years of construction Industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
- Willingness and ability to work to travel a minimum 50% of the time and be at job sites as needed to ensure key projects metrics are achieved
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in project management on utility scale renewables projects such as Solar, BESS or wind preferred
- experience in project management on EPC or other large scale construction projects such as experience working for a heavy general contractor will be considered
- Additional experience leading multiple large projects, ideally in utility scale solar or renewables project environments, for Project Executive level position
