Job Summary
Lead utility-scale solar and BESS construction projects by managing project budgets, schedules, and scope while overseeing resources, subcontractors, and contract documents. Ensure full compliance with environmental safety, PWA regulations, and zero injury principles through daily site inspections, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate subcontractor bids, resolve disputes, and finalize project deliverables including Certificates of Occupancy while maintaining close client relations. Travel approximately 50% of the time to active job sites across the U.S., providing field support during critical execution phases and start-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years of construction Industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
- Willingness and ability to work to travel a minimum 50% of the time and be at job sites as needed to ensure key projects metrics are achieved
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in project management on utility scale renewables projects such as Solar, BESS or wind preferred
- Experience in project management on EPC or other large scale construction projects such as experience working for a heavy general contractor will be considered
- Additional experience leading multiple large projects, ideally in utility scale solar or renewables project environments, for Project Executive level position
