Job Summary
Lead budgeting, scheduling, and buy-out for construction projects by collaborating with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and architects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Bid projects, solicit subcontractor estimates, and prepare cost evaluations and proposals while monitoring OSHA safety standards. Manage design teams, enforce specifications, and review accounting data for cost forecasts and actuals. Update project paperwork including change orders, RFIs, and monthly reports. Mentor the Assistant Project Manager and drive value engineering to balance lifecycle costs and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction related field
- Five to ten years proven experience in multi-family and/or commercial construction operations, including project management, scheduling and estimating/budgeting
- Prefer three to five years of experience implementing the pre-construction or estimating of complex construction projects
- Experience building and developing subcontractor relationships
- Experience with multiple delivery methods
- Field management experience and/or constructability understanding
- Knowledge of Milhaus's services and processes
- Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Valid driver's license

- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priority with end users
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed
