Job Summary
Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of capital, facility, laboratory, office, and infrastructure projects. Define project scope, develop execution strategies, and establish cost, schedule, procurement, and resource plans. Adapt strategies to evolving budgets and government funding cycles while guiding projects through internal governance and approval processes. Coordinate across engineering, construction, procurement, finance, operations, sponsors, and oversight stakeholders. Oversee general contractor and subcontractor execution in a highly regulated environment, identifying and mitigating risks related to scope changes, budget constraints, and existing infrastructure challenges. Capture lessons learned to contribute to continuous improvement of project execution practices. Manage large-scale projects from planning through execution in a stable setting with limited travel and potential for up to 20% telework.
Required Qualifications
- Active DOE L clearance or a DoD secret clearance
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle
- Experience defining project scope, execution strategies, and developing cost, schedule, procurement, and resource plans
- Experience managing projects within evolving budgets and government funding cycles
- Experience navigating formal governance and approval processes, including preparation of decision documentation
- Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience overseeing contractors and subcontractors in regulated environments
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Potential for telework up to 20%
