Construction Project Manager (Lighting)

Job Summary
Manage design-build lighting projects from scope review and budgeting to final delivery, ensuring adherence to safety standards, customer expectations, and project schedules. Lead subcontractors and vendors to develop cost budgets, procure materials within budget, and execute risk mitigation strategies for site-specific requirements. Control project finances by monitoring deliveries, costs, accruals, and reconciling monthly budgets while leading internal, customer, and vendor meetings. Collaborate with the development and sales teams to refine scopes and support project proposals. Requires five years of lighting retrofit project management experience, OSHA 30 certification, and up to 50% regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in Lighting Retrofit Project Management, Project Engineering, or related
- At least 5 years' experience delivering construction projects to Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals
- Active Driver's License
- OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of obtaining the position
- The travel required for this position is approximately up to 50% of the time and will be mostly regional
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Business
- Experience working with local vendors and subcontractors (highly preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Journeyman electrician or electrical contractor's license
