Job Summary
Construction Project Manager overseeing development-project lifecycles from RFP through closeout across multiple sites and states. Responsible for coordinating all phases, ensuring on-time delivery within budget, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Leads subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel; conducts regular site meetings; collaborates with design and engineering teams; tracks milestones, budgets, and change orders; and provides regular progress and financial updates to ownership and internal stakeholders. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities; proficient in Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam; must travel to job sites as needed. This role is safety-sensitive and based in Skokie, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience managing construction or development projects; experience with ground-up and/or multifamily/commercial projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
