Job Summary
Manage commercial design-build projects from initial concept through completion, preparing estimates, budgets, and scopes while evaluating constructability. Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to review drawings and specifications, then oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Lead client meetings, support permitting and material selection, and drive project closeout activities including punch lists and turnover. Work closely with internal teams to develop practical solutions across design discussions through final completion.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, estimating, or preconstruction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong understanding of construction processes, subcontractor coordination, and project budgeting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
Desired Qualifications
- General contractor experience
- Experience with design-build construction, tenant improvements, renovations, or commercial projects
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Self-directed professional who enjoys taking ownership and contributing within a collaborative team environment
