Job Summary
Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members while leading and motivating project teams to foster collaboration. Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. Track project finances, ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, and provide accurate cost forecasts. Implement robust quality control measures to meet client expectations and identify opportunities for process enhancements. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or construction field and at least five years of project management experience in the real estate or construction industry. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the real estate or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel to the San Francisco office 4 days a week and project sites with occasional travel to Silicon Valley
- Proficiency in MS Project or other Gantt chart scheduling tools
- Experience managing cost reports, budgets, and Architectural and Construction management contracts
- Awareness of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
- Familiarity with digital tools and technologies used in project management
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
