Job Summary
Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up and remodel projects in the QSR, fast-casual, and general restaurant sectors. Manage projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, on-budget performance, and alignment with client expectations. Lead setup with estimating support, buyout, contract administration, and site logistics; maintain schedules with milestones and field-coordination; review drawings and equipment packages (kitchen layouts, MEP tie-ins, ventilation, grease traps, health department requirements); communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; track costs, RFIs, submittals, and pricing for extra work; support superintendents with field direction and kitchen timelines; conduct meetings and ensure safety, quality, and compliance. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred), 3–7 years of commercial construction PM experience, and proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- 3 to 7 years of commercial construction project management experience
- Strong background in QSR, fast-casual, restaurant, or hospitality construction
- Experience coordinating commercial kitchen equipment, MEP integration, food service layouts, and related inspections
- Solid understanding of scheduling, subcontractor management, and project financials
- Proficient with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
