Job Summary
Lead Industrial, Institutional, and Commercial construction projects across Western Canada from planning through completion, overseeing delivery across design-build, fixed price, and construction management models. Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, invoicing, change orders, and project administration; prepare and maintain project files, drawings, specifications, subcontracts, schedules, and change orders. Attend client meetings with internal teams; coordinate owner and consultant-initiated change notices and pricing; review shop drawings; coordinate subcontractor pricing and monthly progress draws; support the Project Estimator with estimates; provide monthly forecasts and reporting on budget, schedule, risks, and project status. Requires 5+ years PM experience in a General Contracting environment and post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or architecture (or equivalent experience); strong communication and client-facing skills; willingness to support projects across British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba; familiarity with design-build, fixed price, and construction management delivery. Training and collaboration in a team-oriented construction environment preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience within a General Contracting environment
- Proven experience managing Industrial, Institutional, and Commercial construction projects from inception through to completion
- Strong understanding of multiple project delivery methods, including design-build, fixed price, and construction management
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and MS Project
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, invoicing, change orders, and project administration
- Excellent communication, reporting, interpersonal, and client-facing skills
- Willingness and ability to support projects across British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba as required
