Job Summary
Construction Project Manager (CPM) for the SoCal Equitable Building Decarbonization program leads residential retrofit and remodel projects from planning through completion in Southern California. The CPM oversees contractor relationships, ensures compliance with residential building codes, manages timelines and budgets, conducts site visits and QA/QC, and communicates with homeowners, installers, and internal teams. The role requires a proactive leader with experience in retrofits, contractor oversight, and stakeholder engagement, traveling locally up to 25% to sites across Los Angeles, Riverside, Imperial, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Orange counties. Strong emphasis on transparency, community engagement, trust-building with clients, and alignment with decarbonization goals. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in construction management or related fields with a valid driver’s license; preferred qualifications include CSLB license, LEED/USGBC credentials, bilingual ability, and familiarity with energy-efficiency practices. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
- 5+ years of professional experience in Construction Management, Residential Building Retrofits, Energy Efficiency Upgrades, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and/or a related field
- Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
Desired Qualifications

- Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR
