Job Summary
Manage contract strategy, change orders, and field conditions while overseeing subcontractor relationships and mitigating cost overrun risks. Maintain accurate cost accounting, schedule impacts, and change order logs while coordinating crew mobilizations for day/night work schedules. Collaborate with project owners, prime contractors, inspectors, and field engineers to execute heavy civil construction projects safely, on time, and on budget. This role requires 25% travel across the U.S. with a company vehicle provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with heavy civil construction
- Strong Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
- 3-5 years of construction-related experience
- 5+ years of construction-related experience
- Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
- Ability to multitask in a challenging construction environment
- Excellent computer skills, including strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Valid driver's license
- Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing
