Job Summary
Lead the on-site project team by performing constructability reviews, managing project controls, and coordinating with architects and subcontractors on risk, timetables, and budgets. Execute pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost control while preparing monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders. Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality, develop contingency plans for risks and profit expansion, and collaborate with accounting on billing. Work closely with equipment planners, field crews, and labor teams on material projections and daily operations. Serve as the foundation for a growing self-performing organization, leveraging business insights to make critical decisions.
Required Qualifications
- BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 3-10 years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience coordinating trades and administering subcontracts
- Experience working in a self performing environment (having spent time working for a self-performing general contractor)
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Estimating experience
- Union experience
