Job Summary
Lead the on-site project team by providing leadership, managing project controls, and performing constructability and coordination reviews. Communicate with the construction manager, architects, and subcontractors regarding project risk, timetables, costs, and change management while overseeing pre-construction planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost control. Prepare monthly reports on cost, schedule, safety, and cash flow, and deliver jobsite leadership in safety and quality. Develop contingency plans for risks and expand contractual services to protect project profit. Collaborate with accounting for billing, work closely with the equipment planner and field crew on material projections, and attend coordination meetings. Serve as the on-site project manager responsible for the overall direction and financial outcome of projects across the Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 3-10 years of Project Management experience on projects valued at $50 million or larger
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience coordinating trades and administering subcontracts
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Estimating experience
- Experience working in a self performing enviroment (having spent time working for a self-performing general contractor)
- Union experience
