Job Summary
Lead on large HVAC Controls construction projects (value >= $3M) as on-site primary leader; develop schedules and execute plans; evaluate contractual scope and client directives; pursue change orders; prepare cost estimates and proposals; negotiate final settlements; manage costs, billings, and cash flow; ensure safety compliance and adherence to contract terms; coordinate with owners, contractors, and internal teams; utilize MS Project and standard PM tools to track progress and risks; PMI/PMP certification anticipated within 2 years; travel ~40%+; requires a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in related fields; salary range $97k-$146k with bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry.
- Experience with Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems.
- Experience in healthcare industry/market.
- PMI/PMP certification expected within 2 years of employment.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical material to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems; strong PC skills (MS Office, Adobe, Visio, Windows).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent work-related experience.
- Willingness to travel ~40%+; projects may exist outside assigned geography.
