Job Summary
Construction Project Manager for high-end residential construction overseeing projects from preconstruction through final completion. Responsible for managing schedules, budgets, and day-to-day construction activities; coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and homeowners; leading preconstruction planning meetings; reviewing drawings and specifications; soliciting bids and assisting with estimating and budgeting; ordering and managing materials; monitoring schedules and addressing delays; conducting regular jobsite inspections for workmanship, safety, and compliance; maintaining client communications and coordinating permits and municipal requirements; documenting incidents, delays, design concerns, and project updates; and supporting continuous improvement and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience within residential construction
- Experience managing high-end residential projects including custom homes, renovations, remodels, or additions
- Hands-on field construction experience within residential construction environments
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and construction schedules
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building practices
- Understanding of construction safety standards and jobsite best practices
- Experience managing multiple phases of construction projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between office locations and active job sites throughout Central New Jersey
- Ability to navigate active construction jobsites in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as needed
