Job Summary
Oversee construction projects from inception through closeout by serving as the College's representative to architects, engineers, contractors, and campus departments. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, providing regular reports on schedule, budget, and progress while reviewing change orders and mitigating risks. Coordinate with campus partners to define work scope, align with long-range capital planning, and ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA standards, and institutional policies. Prepare feasibility studies, maintain project logistics plans, and conduct post-project evaluations to incorporate lessons learned. Assist in developing campus-wide design and construction standards while fostering cooperation among Facilities Management staff and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive construction project management experience
- demonstrated ability to manage projects of significant scope and complexity
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification
- Thorough knowledge of construction project management principles
