Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
Own assigned projects from handover through commissioning and close-out, developing plans for scope, milestones, schedule, resources, procurement, permits, risk, quality, and health and safety. Monitor and control budgets by validating cost baselines, commitments, and invoicing while protecting margins and implementing corrective actions. Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and safeguarding commercial relationships. Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Construction, Legal, Finance, HSEQ, Permitting, Commissioning, and O&M teams, escalating critical issues. Lead contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and safety regulations. Manage risks, scope changes, and claims, documenting impacts on cost and schedule. Ensure successful commissioning, legal compliance, and structured handover to the Operations & Maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or an equivalent university qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction, energy, or industrial installation projects
- Proven experience in project planning, budget control, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and contractual close-out
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project planning and monitoring tools
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ownership mindset
- Results-driven, with a strong focus on project profitability and customer satisfaction
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong planning, organizational, communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Additional training or certification in Project Management, Construction, Energy, or Occupational Health & Safety (HSE)
- Experience in solar PV self-consumption and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Professional working proficiency in English
