Construction Project Manager (Federal & Grant-Funded Projects)

KPFF’s Special Projects Division in downtown Seattle, WA seeks a full-time Construction Project Manager to oversee complex infrastructure projects, including federally funded and grant-supported construction programs. Responsibilities include managing contractors, coordinating with subconsultants and stakeholders, preparing, reviewing, and compiling comprehensive contractual documentation, supporting grant-related reporting and reimbursement processes, and ensuring compliance with Buy America / Build America Buy America (BABA) regulations across agencies such as FHWA and MARAD throughout design and construction. The candidate should have familiarity with FHWA-funded projects, federal grant administration, and BABA compliance, along with WSDOT specifications, and possess at least 5 years of professional experience. Regular presence on project sites around the Pacific Northwest is expected. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam, strong organizational and time-management skills, and excellent verbal and written communication are required. While an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred and CCM or PMP is preferred, the role emphasizes demonstrated experience in construction project management and coordination within public works or infrastructure projects.
