Job Summary
Construction Project Manager responsible for overseeing infrastructure modernization projects for the VA EHRM program, onsite at James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa. Manages project schedules, budgets, and overall performance; coordinates with VA stakeholders, contractors, architects, and engineers; reviews documents, RFIs, and change orders; facilitates meetings and provides status updates; tracks risks/issues; supports commissioning, testing, inspections, and closeout; maintains documentation; assists with cost estimates and procurement; ensures compliance with federal, VA, safety, and construction standards.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check (NACI)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of construction project management experience
- Experience supporting healthcare, federal, military, or VA construction projects preferred
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contractor performance
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and project scheduling tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Tampa, Florida
