Job Summary
Own the physical security scope on an active data center construction site from design through installation and closeout. Manage security integrator vendors against scope, schedule, budget, and quality by reading construction plans, elevations, and design documents across architectural, electrical, and telecommunications disciplines. Attend construction planning meetings to represent the security scope, run QA/QC on installed systems including access control, intrusion detection, and camera surveillance, and track change orders while reviewing vendor invoices. Provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, and installation progress. This full-time role requires 5+ years of construction experience, occasional travel up to 20%, and includes a vehicle allowance, 401(k), and comprehensive health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction or capital project management experience
- Proven ability to manage vendors, schedules, and budgets on active construction sites
- Proficiency reading construction plans, elevations, and design and construction documents
- Working knowledge of physical security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, and camera surveillance
- Willingness to be on-site at the construction location and to travel occasionally for training and client meetings (up to approximately 20%)
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience on data center, mission-critical, or other high-security builds
- Familiarity with Lenel access control systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
