Job Summary
Construction Project Manager for DataBank, leading and coordinating critical facilities construction projects across multiple markets with a strong focus on data-center development. Responsibilities include engineering management, drawing review across multiple disciplines, construction management, start-up and commissioning, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting design standards. Lead and mentor contractors and vendors; manage RFPs with Procurement; deliver Built to Suit projects with value-engineering emphasis; coordinate cross-functional teams across Owner, Design Team and Contractors; facilitate evolving designs with future developments (AI/trends); oversee financial aspects of contracts, including progress billing, equipment, and expenses; supervise monthly forecasting and budgeting in coordination with Project Controls; collaborate with Commissioning Manager to achieve on-line capacity. Requires extensive experience in critical facilities design/engineering, data center construction, and proficiency with Procore and AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Background in Critical Facilities Design, Architecture, Engineering and Construction Services.
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, Owners Representative, or as a General Contractor
- Experience in large campus level developments; 100MW+.
- Minimum of 10-15+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry.
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects.
- Experience with design and constructing facility owned power sub-stations.
- Effective Communicator emails, phone, and face to face.
- Ability to work independently.
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, Procore, AutoCAD.
