Job Summary
Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously from planning through close-out, coordinating schedules, budgets, and contractors to ensure delivery on time and within scope. Develop project schedules and reporting tools, then lead weekly meetings to provide status updates to leadership. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors to align design and scope, while reviewing contracts, change orders, and pay applications. Conduct regular site visits for quality control and resolve field conflicts. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards. Forecast costs accurately throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires 5+ years of experience managing commercial projects and proficiency in Procore, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with permitting processes, contracts, and local building codes
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
